About Me
Let’s Get to Know Each Other…
For as long as I can remember, friends, family, and co-workers have described me as intuitive and insightful, compassionate and open-minded. As your therapist, I extend these qualities to you, my client. I am an avid animal lover, particularly dogs! They are silent therapists: intuitive, loyal, and provide nonjudgmental positive regard. I have two golden-doodles, and my ultimate goal is to integrate them into my practice as therapy dogs.
I was born and spent my younger years in a suburb of Los Angeles, California until moving to Las Vegas in 1999. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and my Master of Science degree in marriage and family therapy, both obtained from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. A few of my clinical interests include attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology and neuroplasticity, and mindfulness. I am absolutely fascinated with the brain and am always yearning to learn more about how we can make sense of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in relation to the patterns our brain’s create given past and present experiences.
I have personally and professionally seen the power of therapy. Whether you feel in crisis, or are just looking to discover more about yourself and/or your relationships, therapy can be immensely helpful. Being a part of this hyper-connected world can become overwhelming and cause feelings of disconnection from oneself. I see therapy as a reset button, a set time where you can re-connect with you: the truest form of self-care. As your therapist, I will be by your side to motivate and challenge you, and provide the insight and compassion as we work to reach your goals.
